Farhana Akther earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, with a focus on intellectual property law. While at Thomas Jefferson, Farhana was a limited practitioner with the Thomas Jefferson Small Business Law Center for Trademark focusing on trademark prosecution. She was an Intellectual Property Law Fellow and the director of Intellectual Property Law Association. Farhana also earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence, and the Jeffersonian Medal in both Trademark & Unfair Competition Law and Copyright Law.
Farhana obtained her Bachelor of Arts in American Studies with a concentration in International Relations from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles.
Farhana loves to cook, travel, hike, and spend time with her family during her free time.
